How long have I been saving?

Two electrical cords tangle one outlet—

Who'll get the Wisconsin electric current?

The room heater (set at sixty-eight degrees) turns on,

The rug underneath must be warm.

Candle flame blowing with the air.

Annoying to watch it and stare.

Two handles have the storage cabinet,

There's nothing inside but an old laptop.

White window corner adds (a focus point) to the

Duck picture on the wall.

Pet photos set atop the desk, 

I wonder, do they even notice?

White pages and yellow pages--

Both get outdated.

Remote pet training collar lay on a shelf,

Manufacturer lied; it isn't waterproof.

Breathe...am I in focus?
